Overview

Mabati Technical Training Institute offers comprehensive training in technical, vocational, entrepreneurship, and life skills. History

Mabati Technical Training Institute (MTTI) was established in 2005 in Mariakani, Kilifi County, as a flagship project of the Safal MRM Foundation, formerly the MRM EIB Trust. This initiative arose from a funding arrangement between MRM and the European Investment Bank (EIB). Over the past 17 years, MTTI has successfully trained and certified over 1500 graduates through the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). The institute is dedicated to providing quality and affordable technical and vocational skills training to disadvantaged youth, equipping them with the competencies needed for gainful employment.

Mission

To empower and equip the youth and less priviledged youth of coast region with technical and entrepreneurial skills in order to reduce unemployment levels and therefore poverty.

Vision

To be self-sustainable Centre of excellence by providing quality technical and entrepreneurial skills to lower strata of the society at subsidized rate, thereby improving the quality of life and subsequently contributing to the social – economic development of the area.
