Overview
Mtongwe Vocational Training Center is a registered public institution located in Mombasa County, Kenya, along Old Mtongwe Road, also known as Kenya Navy Road. As a grassroots technical training center managed by the County Government of Mombasa, it plays a vital role in providing technical and vocational education and empowering youth within the Likoni sub-county.
History
Following the promulgation of the Constitution of Kenya in 2010, village polytechnics and home craft centers were devolved. Mtongwe Vocational Training Center is now directly managed by the Mombasa County Government's Department of Education.
Mission
To deliver high-quality, hands-on technical skills and competencies that foster self-reliance, reduce youth vulnerability, and produce a competitive workforce capable of meeting the dynamic needs of local and marine industries.

To be a premier, grassroots center of excellence in providing inclusive technical, vocational, and entrepreneurial training within Mombasa County
